Presidential Letter

Dear President Barrack Obama                           January 22, 2009
I am part of the 3 million American that were given a chance to buy a home during the bubble. It was an interest only loan during a time of questionable practices by lenders and appraiser. I am in an area of California where values have dropped 50%. Like many other Americans we put sweat equity into our homes, doing the necessary work to make the home livable, and as green as our credit could afford. We love our home and keep making payments. We have a first at 6.5% and a sliding second, which is a great 4.5%. That 2% equals the $500 which, as a 61 year man, is what I pay for my health insurance. We want to help Americans reduce our credit card debts, keep our homes and become part of the work force that helps free our country, but WE THE PEOPLE, need help.
That's enough story, and too much bitchin,  I am into fixin. So here's an ideas:
There are thousand of unemployed and under-employed real estate affiliate who could become caseworkers to keep people in their home

A stop gap measure that could develop into a powerful industry. A true meaning to the Fair Housing Act. Honest caring labor to reset the American Homeowner, and caring jobs. Keep US in our HOMES.

Thank you Mr. President, for reading this letter.
