Is your Mother source? Is she the direct connection to your creation?
God May be mysterious, hidden or obvious, omnipresent, but Mom Rules!
Mother is the entity that I can trace to my source.
Mother is both noun, source of our arrival on planet earth, & verb, the source of nourishment for body, mind, heart & soul.
I am perplexed over theology that places Mothers, and all women, in a position of less than or at fault for the ‘fall of man.’
If anyone created the image of the ‘fall of man’, it is me, a man. Own it guys, it wasn’t your Mother, or anyone’s Mother. Any useless suffering, fall from grace, or hardships are not dominated by Mothers, women, the feminine sex, anymore that than domination by the Fathers, males or guys with brains between their legs that govern the graceless nature of useless suffering. It is us & our bag of beliefs.
Useless suffering, the blame, hate, struggle, lack, all beliefs that originate from a legacy of beliefs that someone, something other than I is responsible for how I am.
Notice that the whispers of mom to calm the babes suffering may sound a lot like the voice of conscience.
“Hush little baby don’t you cry, it will be Ok.” And it was & is.
My Mother taught me the Golden Rule.
Do onto others as you do onto your self.
How would you like your Mother to treat you?
How do you want to be treated?
How do you treat your self?
Are you a Present? A Gift?
Is it as simple as be aware of where and how you place your attention?
The Persian expression is “Do as you would be done.”
The ancient Egyptian Golden Rule “He sought for others the good he desired for himself.”
The Buddhist is “One should seek for others the happiness one desires for oneself.”
The guidelines are pure, simple and straight forward, the question is how do you want to be treated?
It is a question to rule your life.
